Grand Champions Criteria
Forms Grand Champion titles will be formally established for
many events from the Youth level up to the Executive level.
Internal
Forms Grand Champion:
Division: Advanced, Adult & Executive, Men & Women
Criteria: Rank 1st in ALL required events: (open & group
events do not apply)
1 of the 5 major Taiji Barehand events (Chen, Yang,
Wu (Hao), Wu, Sun)
1 Internal Barehand (different Taiji or other internal
form)
1 Internal Weapon (sword or other weapon)
Finals:
Qualifiers compete in 1 of the 5 Major Taiji barehand of choice
on Sunday

Forms Grand Champion:
Division: Advanced, Adult & Executive,
Modern Wushu & Traditional, Men & Women
Criteria: Rank 1st in ALL required events: (2-3 man sets,
Chin Woo & group events do not apply):
1 Barehand event (not Open)
1 Short Weapon (not Open)
1 Long Weapon (not Open)
1 Individual Open event (weapon or barehand)
Finals: Qualifiers compete in one barehand
form of choice on Sunday.

Junior
Forms Grand Champion:
Division: Kids & Juniors (level: 2 years or more), Teens
(advanced)
Criteria: 10 points are given for 1st, 7 for 2nd, and 5 for
3rd in any number of events. Group events, 2-3 Person Sets,
& Chin Woo Forms do not apply.
Finals: Highest total points in kids, juniors, and teens divisions
compete against each other in one barehand form of choice on
Sunday.

Woo Forms Grand Champion:
Division: 16 years old or older
Criteria: 10 points are given for 1st, 7 for 2nd, and 5 for
3rd. Highest total points
in ALL 5 required compulsory events determines winner:
Gongliquan (Strength Boxing)
Jiequan (Connecting Fist)
Baguadao (Bagua Sabre)
Qunyangun (Sheep Flocking Staff)
Wuhuqiang (5 Tiger Spear)
Tie breaker: Reperform Jiequan

Division: Adult, Advanced, Male & Female

Wing Chun Hand Form
Wooden Dummy Form (Sil Lim Tao, Chum Kiu, or Bil
Gee)
Chi-sau
Sparring (continuous sparring or san-shou)
Tie breaker: One Barehand form of choice on
